Production agents, department by department

Fourteen documented agent builds cover the work Malaysian enterprises still push through email, spreadsheets and ERP screens. This page maps them to the departments where they earn their keep — and links to the full engineering write-up for each.

Claude-first, model-agnostic

We are a member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network with Claude Certified Architects on the team, and we deploy whichever model fits the task and your data constraints.

Run, not just launched

Deployments include AgentOps: monitoring, incident response and scheduled re-evaluation as your documents, prices and policies change.

status: deployed · finance

Finance: close faster with fewer touches

Finance is where most Malaysian enterprises deploy their first agent, because the work is high-volume, rule-bound and easy to measure. These three builds handle the document-matching grind that keeps AR and AP teams late at month-end.

  • [Cash application agent](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-use-cases/cash-application/) — reads remittance advices and bank statements, matches payments to open invoices, and posts to the ERP with a confidence score on every match.
  • [Invoice matching agent](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-use-cases/invoice-matching/) — three-way matches supplier invoices against POs and goods receipts, and routes only genuine exceptions to a human.
  • [Bank reconciliation agent](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-use-cases/bank-reconciliation/) — reconciles multi-bank statements daily instead of monthly, flagging unmatched items the same day they land.

status: deployed · sales

Sales: answer faster than the competitor's rep

Sales agents earn revenue rather than save cost, which changes the maths. We deploy agents that respond to inbound enquiries and RFQs within minutes, draft quotations from your price book, and keep CRM records clean enough to trust the pipeline number. Each build in the [use-case directory](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-use-cases/) documents the workflow, model choice and evaluation before you commit.

  • Enquiry-to-quote agent — drafts quotations from RFQ emails using your price book and margin rules, ready for rep approval.
  • Lead qualification agent — scores and enriches inbound leads, so reps in KL and JB start the day with a ranked queue, not a raw inbox.
  • CRM hygiene agent — reconciles email threads and meeting notes into the CRM, so forecasts stop depending on who remembered to log a call.

status: deployed · ops & logistics

Operations and logistics: kill the re-keying

Retailers, manufacturers and logistics operators in Malaysia run on customer POs, delivery orders and shipping documents that still get re-keyed by hand. These agents read the documents your customers actually send — clean or not — and put structured data where your systems need it.

  • [Order processing agent](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-use-cases/order-processing/) — extracts line items from PO emails and PDFs, validates against your catalogue and credit rules, and creates the sales order in the ERP.
  • Delivery-exception agent — monitors shipment milestones, drafts customer notifications for delays, and escalates only when a decision is needed.
  • Document intake agent — classifies and files the daily flood of DOs, packing lists and certificates against the right order or shipment.

status: deployed · hr

HR: policy answers without the ticket queue

HR teams field the same questions every day and process the same forms every month. Agents here are lower-risk than finance deployments and are often the fastest way for a GLC or large employer to build internal confidence in agentic AI.

  • [Leave management agent](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-use-cases/leave-management/) — handles leave applications, balance checks and approval routing inside the chat tools staff already use.
  • Policy Q&A agent — answers handbook, claims and benefits questions with citations to the source policy, in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Onboarding agent — chases documents, provisions checklists and answers new-hire questions during the first 90 days.

status: deployed · service

Customer service: triage before your team wakes up

Service agents work the queue, not the customer relationship. The goal is that every ticket a human touches is already classified, prioritised and enriched with account context — and the routine half never reaches a human at all.

  • [Support triage agent](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-use-cases/support-triage/) — classifies, prioritises and routes incoming tickets, and drafts responses for the routine majority.
  • Order-status agent — resolves where-is-my-order and billing questions directly from ERP and logistics data, on web chat or WhatsApp.
  • Voice-of-customer agent — summarises ticket themes weekly so product and ops teams see problems before they trend.

Every agent ships evaluated, not just demoed

A department agent only counts once it survives production. Every deployment includes an Agent GPA evaluation against your real documents, SLOs with load testing before go-live, and AgentOps monitoring after. For Malaysian FIs we design to BNM RMiT expectations; every build handles personal data under PDPA. If you already have an agent that works in the demo but not in the queue, start with an [agent rescue](https://www.anchorsprint.com/solutions/agent-rescue/) instead.

  • Agent GPA scorecard on your data before you commit to production.
  • SLOs, load testing and rollback plans as standard — the lead engineer behind this practice has handled 300+ production incidents.
  • PDPA-aligned data handling, with deployment options that keep documents inside your cloud tenancy.

Frequently asked questions

Which department should deploy an agent first?

Usually finance. Cash application, invoice matching and bank reconciliation are high-volume, rule-bound and easy to measure, so the business case is visible within the first month. If your finance stack is locked down, support triage or leave management are lower-friction starting points.

How do these agents handle PDPA compliance in Malaysia?

Every build is designed around PDPA obligations: data minimisation in prompts, audit logs of what each agent read and did, and deployment options that keep documents inside your own cloud tenancy. For banks and other FIs, we design to BNM RMiT expectations on outsourcing and technology risk.

Do you only deploy Claude?

No. We are Claude-first — we are a member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network and most builds in the directory run on Claude — but we are model-agnostic and deploy whichever model fits the task, your budget and your data-residency constraints.

What does an agent cost to run in MYR?

Model usage is usually the smallest line item — most document-processing agents run at sen-per-document, not ringgit. Each use-case write-up includes an RM run-cost estimate, and you can model your own volumes with the Claude cost calculator at anchorsprint.com/tools/claude-cost-calculator.

We already built an agent in-house and it is unreliable. Can you fix it?

Yes — that is a standard engagement. We start with an Agent GPA evaluation to quantify where it fails, then re-engineer prompts, retrieval and guardrails until it passes at production volume. See the agent rescue service for how the assessment works.
